Renowned Diné (Navajo) weaver Marilou Schultz has created a breathtaking rug depicting the internal circuitry of a 555 timer chip. The rug, featuring thick white lines on a black background and accented with reddish-orange diamonds, meticulously reproduces the chip's metallic wiring and pin connections. Inspired by a microscopic image of the chip, Schultz masterfully translates the microscopic world into a monumental artwork, employing traditional plant dyes and metallic threads.
